“What you hope never happens to YOU, happened to us! On May 17, 2013 we had a 12 alarm fire at our property in Gilbertsville, PA. A large 3 story barn and 2 story cottage was completely destroyed in the fire. Our farmhouse was saved but was damaged by the heat and smoke. We called our Erie Insurance Agent, Keith Storti immediately. We were certain that this was going to be an insurance nightmare. House, barn, automobile, personal property and business insurances would be involved. While the firemen were still trying to put out the fire, the Erie Insurance Adjuster, Matthew Cericola, came to our property and saw the incredible damage. Over the weekend numerous Independent Claim Adjusters contacted us and explained that in order for us to be fairly compensated, that we would need to hire them to act on our behalf. We have always had all of our insurance policies with Erie Insurance and trusted our Insurance Agent, Keith Storti, that he would do right by us. Within five (5) days, we had our insurance proceeds for the barn, cottage and personal property! Amazing! The nightmare was the fire BUT Erie Insurance, Keith Storti and Matthew Cericola helped us to have a quick and speedy emotional and financial recovery.
